April 4
There are about 7 weeks left to the school year. I am able to spend time with my students and NOT test them. What an amazing concept.
Girls Rock Denver
This is from a friend who is mentoring a group of girls at Girls Rock Camp here in Denver: Awesome conversation during band practice today--"So where were you coming from when you wrote this?" Girl replied:"I was in my house." I love my band--Postcards and Polaroids!
It just seemed right to post here too! :)

From the Dear Husband
So, my husband is a letter carrier. He meets a LOT of little kiddos along the route. His most recent was a little guy who would call out: "Hi Mister Mailbox!"
LOVE IT!!!

Kids and Adults!
Yesterday was lucrative...
Teacher to Student: Why are you so angry today, M?
Student replies: BECAUSE NO ONE IS BEING REASONABLE!
He is in first grade. :)
Teacher to class in gymnasium: Thank you to all of you who know how to keep your noodles still.
Words I never would have strung together... Never.

Testing Non-sequitur
During the mandated state tests here in Denver one of my students blurts out: I want to go back to Lego Land.
And then resumed the test.
And then resumed the test.

Kiddo: I dunno, s'pose it just depends how long you're cooked.
