Testing Non-sequitur

During the mandated state tests here in Denver one of my students blurts out: I want to go back to Lego Land.

And then resumed the test.

Me: So do you think that humans are red meat or white meat? (asked after we were discussing surgery)
Kiddo: I dunno, s'pose it just depends how long you're cooked.
